OUR BLESSINGS THROUGH CHRIST

Eph.1: 3 Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us
with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Context;
Rom.8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of
God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him,
that we may be also glorified together.

Introduction;Too
often we see the shared glory with Christ as something off in the
wonderful future instead of rejoicing in the ‘here and now’
promises which are ours. In the next few verses of this first chapter
of Ephesians we shall see the Present Blessings we have through
Christ.

THROUGH
HIM WE ARE;

I.Chosen.V-
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the
world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

John
15;19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but
because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the
world, therefore the world hateth you.

Remember
the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his
lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if
theyhave kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

II.
Sanctified; V-4. , that we should be holy and
without blame before him in love:

I
Cor. 1: 2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that
are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in
every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs
and ours:

John
17: 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might
be sanctified through the truth.

III.
Adopted; V-5, Having predestinated us unto the
adoption of children by Jesus
